Hi all I just wanted to share some details of a PLC session on creating opportunities for students to improve numeracy we had here at Pelican last week. Attached is a PowerPoint presentation from our PLC. Below is the handout we used to plan how we could create opportunities to improve numeracy in our classes. We asked our teachers to try focusing on a mathematical concept in at least one of their classes. We are going to meet to discuss the results in one month. |
