Hello Everyone! I would just like to let everyone know that the FNSSP team has a new video conference schedule for March to June 2011. We will be faxing a copy of upcoming video conferences to all the schools this week. Our first v/c will be on March 10, 2011 starting at 3pm. Chelsea Berringer one of our student retention workers will be be talking about Bullying. We ask that any schools that would like to participate in any of our upcoming video conferences please let me know by the Tuesday on the week of the ones you would like to attend. Hey Serena How are these video conferencing sessions going? I'm planning to start up bi-weekly video conferencing sessions with the community liaison workers and just wondering how the VC Sessions are going? who is your main audience? |

Hey Angie, We have had very few communities able to participate in our past video conferences. I have been faxing reminders a week before each one to try and have more people to participate. I hope to be part in some of your video conferences to maybe speak to the liaison workers to offer support to the staff at the schools so that they know they are able to attend ours. Depending on what the topics are of the V/C's the audiences vary. We have had V/C's for students, teachers and parents. We have an upcoming Spring concert on May 5th which will be for the students. We are hoping to have the same success as we did with the Christmas concert. I will be sure to keep the meeting place updated with upcoming events. |
