Reminder to all Community Liaison Workers: As requested at the last videoconference on October 28th, we need photos of space availability at your school for the new servers that are being installed. K-Net is installing servers in each of the schools to enhance the broadband and internet capabilities required for Dadavan management. To accommodate the new servers, we need to know what kind of space and environment is available in your school to home the servers. The servers will come with a caged rack to protect them, and the dimensions of the enclosure is approximately 32" (depth) x 24" (width) x 30" (height). Sufficient airflow is also required in the server space so keep this in mind when identifying potential locations. Please take pictures of any space available in your school that will accommodate the server and enclosure. You can email me the pictures at willowfiddler@knet.ca no later than Monday, November 22.
