Collection of E-Learning Tools. Recommended for Advanced Learners

This CD-ROM contains a collection of free e-learning tools suitable for advanced learners and useful for instructed learning and self-learning.

The e-learning tools on the CD-ROM are divided into the following categories: Geography & Astronomy, Language Learning, Mathematics, Science, Programming and Memorizing.

    The Hot Potatoes suite includes six applications enabling to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the world wide web.
  • EclipseCrossword

    EclipseCrossword is an easy way teachers to create professional crossword puzzles in seconds.
  • Selingua

    Selingua is a vocabulary training program with built-in dictionaries - more than 2,000 words in each of the following languages: English (both American and British), German, Spanish, French and Swedish.
  • Selingua Columns

  • Sephonics

Each application has been thoroughly tested and verified by a team from the ICT in Education Programme, to ensure its effectiveness and safety. The tools have also been checked to make sure that they do not include any viruses, adware, malware or spyware.
