Sioux Lookout District Film Festival

On March 10th, 2011 Kwayaciiwin will be hosting the Sioux Lookout District Film Festival.

As part of our Digital Camera Project we will be holding a video conference inviting schools to create their own films.  We will be showing these films through video conferencing to any schools that would like to participate.

This is an open invitation to all schools who would like to create a short film with their students:

The film can be as long as 20 minutes (there is no minimum length).  Any class can participate in this activity.

The theme of the films could be:

A.) Our Community.

B.) Our School.

C.) Literacy in Action.

D.) Motivating Students to Read or Write.

The Submissions are due: March 2nd, 2011.

Your main theme for the music video will be:

Promoting Reading or Writing

Audience: Other students/schools

Rules:  You can revamp a song to fit promoting reading and writing, or create your own song.  Video tape a performance or images to your students performing the song.  Any age group can participate.
