Thank you to the participants of the Literacy Working Group who travelled to Sioux Lookout to discuss and investigate Levelled reading systems. The following attatchment describes the workshop and the results of our comparison of Nelson Literacy, Scholastic's Literacy Place, and Pearson's LLI. We had a great time investigating these systems and discussing "a perfect system" Each system is described in detail in the report with benefits and weaknesses of each system. As well as the groups recommendations on which system is the best choice. |
