Hi all, The Ontario Ministry of Education website (http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/eng/studentsuccess/lms/library.html#TIPS) has a page for Leading Math Success. There are lots of resources on this site, including a set of 8.5"x 11" posters on mathematical processes: Connecting, Reasoning and Proving, Reflecting, Representing, and Tools and Computational Strategies. I think these posters would be especially useful in an intermediate math classroom. They could also be made into overheads and used to guide the focus of a lesson. There are lots of other resources on this site, including lessons outlines and student activities for Gr.7-10, and content-based packages for fractions, integers, etc. Karen |
