Greetings!

My name is Dobi-Dawn Frenette and I am the Education Coordinator/Advisor for Nishnawbe Aski Nation.

I have been working at NAN for 4.5 years and previously worked at Matawa First Nations Management and the Anishinaabeg of Kabapikatawangag Resource Council in Grand Treaty #3 in the area of Education.

My passions are literacy, special education and sustainable and equitable funding for First Nations in all areas of education.I am a band member of Couchiching First Nation located in Grand Council Treaty #3.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved with the FNSSP projects across NAN. As well as the NAN Chiefs Committee on Education and the NAN Education Committee for their on-going guidance and support!

It has been a great experience working with the project partners and team leads, and seeing the great things that have been achieved over a short time frame.

I look forward to my on-going involvement with the project and encourage you to contact myself or Ron Marano, FNSSP Coordinator, with any comments or questions you may have.

Miigwetch!
