The Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs is partnering with KO to support local community workers with planning community events, video conference gatherings and training for communities to discuss and share their relationship with the land. First Nation experts will share examples of planning, mapping and recording stories regarding a lands and resources issues in order to plan ahead for discussions with government.

Community Events & Engagement

Fort Severn Elders' Discussion

Community contacts will plan various community events and meetings to engage youth, elders and anyone interested in lands and resources.

Photos, stories and maps will be gathered in partner communities and may be shared through their community websites.

Reports and Sharing

Community workers will share their plans at local community meetings and will have a chance to share their story with other communities.
