How do I use the User message system access?

I did not add users. Can you explain how the process?

In the administration block of the site -> Users -> messaging user access.

When you click appears that contains some settings (Black List, Gray and White List list) and below has Messaging Access Times.

How is the configuration of these items?

This is a site-wide settings allows teachers to restrict certain users from accessing the messaging functions.

White = Always allow

Gray = Allow only on the times specified below

Black = Never allow

This setting can also be set at the course level via the Teacher Tools block.
