Could I post a lead for a "potential" resource here?

This content came to my attention through the CLA Aboriginal Information list-serv:
The Canadian Aboriginal Writing Challenge is a creative writing contest for young Aboriginal Canadians (ages 14-18 and 19-29). Participants can showcase their talent and creativity and win great prizes.

Available on this website is submissions from 2005-2008. The stories are available in printable pdf format. There are some published compilations. Can't find any info on copyright. This would be a great existing resource... Any advice on how we could determine if it is existing or potential?

Do we need permission from authors? Seems like the books have been published by the Dominion Institute, and they are running the 2009 contest. www.dominion.ca

Jesslyn, this is amazing, more PDFs! PDF is a format that is very easy to support, so while the systems team is trying to figure out what are the kinds of format that we can support, PDFs are a no-brainer. =)

Perhaps in the letters of intent for the Digital Contents, we can address exactly how the content will be used/collected by use for the portal? Where they are housed for example, the limits of how much we can modify the content (for the purpose of customizing the content for the print only, not to edit the work), are two issues that I can think of that would be interest to potential content sharers/providers.
