Student can not choose weekly activities

Hi Fernando Oliveira,

Not kowning why a student can not view the activities in a FN format course,only the "previous" and "Next" button works,other buttons seem dead. When the mouse point on week 1,2,4...,it shows un-linkable.

What is wrong with my settings?

Hi Dennis,

Are you referring to the weekly tabs (i.e. you can't select a week)?  Does this happen when you are logged in as both admin and student? If it's just an issue with the student view, then the problem is likely related the start date on the course - that is, the course hasn't started yet.  If the course date is not the issue, please post a screenshot and note any changed you made to the course settings.

Thanks for your prompt reply,yes,it is the weekly tabs which I can not choose,please see the picture attached.

as to the possible reasons you mentioned above,I set up a new course as a default FN format course,I did not change anything here.And the start date is in sept.30,and today it is Oct.1st.it should not be the start date issue.

And I have to different users,one is the creator of the course and the other assigned as user only.When I logged in the student user(student role only ),the tabs does not work for me.they are in grey shape,and as I notice that only the blue tabs can be selected.

Hi Fernando,

I find out why the week tabs does not work,yes the reason is:the week does not come yet,show it does not show linkable.When I change the course start date to an much earlier date,then the first 3 weeks shows up.

However,the "my courses" menu in "my menu" block still does not show up,can you give me some advice?

Dennis,

Try this:

1. Turn editting on.

2. Click on the setting icon that's located in the myMenu block header

3. Make sure that the "myCourse"  box has a checkmark in it.

Please repost if this doesn't solve your problem.
