Youth Employment 2013-14

January 6th - the office/school just opened today from the holiday break. Today I continued doing research online about the school and continued taking a course on Alison.com called Create your own website.

January 7th - continued to work on the online course, and doing research about the school for the webpage.

January 8th - helped out around the school, sanitizing the classrooms because a lot of the children were absent due to the flu being passed around, school was closed in the afternoon to allow the cleaning to take place.

January 9th- today I faxed in my time sheet, typed out some notes i took from my online course , and i also completed the online course. It costs money to print out the certificate but the education director said they will assist me in payment so i can receive all the certificates i complete. I also finally got my CPIC back and handed it into Cathy and the Principle at the school!

January 10th- Today I got a new laptop, so i been setting it up and downloading all the programs that i need to start on the schools website, just waiting on some training so i can begin. I have been doing research on how to build a HTML website/webpage, and about domain and hosting accounts. I just need a little direction as to what programs, hosting, domain accounts to use? are u paying for services, or does the school pay?
