This week, I finished configuring all the access points on Monday and I took the modem, router, switch and access points to the school building, SJMEC, to set up the network. I'm already acquainted with the school, I set up the whole network in the staff room and I asked maintenance to have the access points mounted on each specific locations. After that was done, I powered the access points via PoE and tested them all. The whole thing was a success. I got to asking my supervisor about my office, unfortunately there is no office for me but I found a nice corner (see attached file). I did some online training on the Alison website. It's a good website in my opinion. I'll be doing more training today. That's all I have to report. Percy  |

Percy's Corner! Glad you staked your claim within your work place. I know space is limited in every school. I'm hoping that you wouldn't mind being a resource to other youth workers who need help in networks and such. I'm currently trying to give my trainers a lesson on how to deliver on-line training and Networking 101 was a proposed course. Let me know what you think about being the "turn to" guy Angie |
