Hi Leila, A few people have contacted me with similar problems. It seems the Moodle plugins repository is packaging the files with the incorrect permissions. If you are able, go to /blocks/fn_marking and manually set directories to 0755 and files to 0644. Or you could download directly from the GitHub repository until this gets resolved. Thanks Fernado! That did the trick! By the way, I had the pleasure of attending your presentation at the Edmonton Moodle Moot a few years back. I was impressed and inspired by your work as well as the work of your organisation. I’ve used the FN extensions in a few different schools over the years and I can’t imagine running my courses without them. Every year these tools get better and better! Thanks! Regards, Leila |

We started the Moodle FN project almost 10 years ago with Moodle 1.4! Moodle has come a long way since then and so have the MoodleFN plugins. Updating our plugins from Moodle 1.9 to 2.x was particularly challenging on the coding and site migration front, but the new Moodle framework is a welcome change. I’m quite happy with our latest updates. Glad to hear you’re making good use of them.
