Custom Menu Bar - Roles

The custom menu bar at the top can be controlled under Theme Settings in Moodle 2.4. Is there any way to control what different user roles see? For example, could I have a menu item or sub-menu item that is only visible to teachers but not students? I can find no information about this, and I suspect it's not possible, but it sure would be useful. Thoughts?

Hi Kevin,

It's a good idea, but the menu bar has no connection to the Moodle roles/permissions system.
