Hello everybody, Here's a quick update on recent developments about the Indigenous Radio event: The event will take place on June 16. It's only 3 weeks away, but since it's an online event, this should give us enough time to stread the word and make it happen. There's a poster on the www.indigenousradio.net website that advertises this event and invites people to submit info about their community radio station in the form of a mini broadcast (mp3). The idea is to circulate this invitation to as many community radio stations as we can find on the web (so far I've found about 100.. still looking.. I'll post the list soon). I'm hoping to do a email blitz to these stations + all band offices in Canada in the next couple days. Probably a good idea to hammer out any loose ends at this point. Brian W, would you mind post some info about the presenters? Any preference for start time? How does 2PM (central) sound? Does anyone know if the Starbak video codec works in Vista yet? Comments/suggestions welcome. Fernando |

Hey Fernando ... Web-based community radio stations ... exciting times!! YES ... the Starbak video codec does work in Vista now ... if you have problems, speak with Lyle [smiles] ... Lyle is also working on getting the new Polycom Video streamer working which requires no new codec ... Brian |
