Just took a look at the latest release of Moodle 2.3, and it looks like the new assignment module will not include this feature. Not sure what the logic is behind this decision but it's very disappointing!

From what I can tell so far, this should still be possible via the new marking screen, as shown here. Please feel free to test this function in the Moodle 2.3 test site (http://ned.knet.ca/demo/m23-testa).

Depending on how this function works, it might be possible to add it our Marking Manager (in a more user-friendly manner), but since our coding round is done and this is new feature, we'd need to send this off to another coder.

I will continue to look into this.
