Hi again, I'm wondering about having "allow resubmissions" for the advanced uploading of files file type. We need our students to be able to do this. I see that it is available in single file uploads, but not advanced uploads. Can this be changed? It's a bit of a sticky one for us. Thanks |

Hi Kevin, Are you talking about the Marking Manager or the edit screen for the "Advanced Uploads" activity type? Fernando |

Hi, It's just the setting within that activity type. Right now, you can't allow students to submit the activity again after it's marked, but you can do that in other activity types. From what I'm reading here about assignment types in 2.2, that option still won't be available. Will it be available in the amalgamated lesson type? We really can't proceed if our students can't correct and resubmit work. Thanks Kevin |

Hi Kevin, Just took a look at the latest release of Moodle 2.3, and it looks like the new assignment module will not include this feature. Not sure what the logic is behind this decision but it's very disappointing! From what I can tell so far, this should still be possible via the new marking screen, as shown here. Please feel free to test this function in the Moodle 2.3 test site (http://ned.knet.ca/demo/m23-testa). Depending on how this function works, it might be possible to add it our Marking Manager (in a more user-friendly manner), but since our coding round is done and this is new feature, we'd need to send this off to another coder.
