Lansdowne: I have 3 homes internet that keeps going on and off the same time. I did replacements on all cables including accessories. I even check the cable modems... All is workin good. any expert advises.. Thanks....... |

What do you mean by I have 3 homes internet that keeps going on and off the same time? Are they all in the same area / location? |

if the homes are on the same tap it might be the tap it might be failing or it might be a suckout |

Hey, What time of day does this happen? Is it snowing or windy at the time it goes off? Are they on the same tap? |

Hi, When it's bad weather like snow and windy, it goes off. But I think I may find the problem, one of the drop wire that goes to the home is twisted around the hydro line. Is dat the problem let me know? I keep changing coax cabling plus wall plate and testing out the cable modem. The signal is there but no action. There is only one drop wire hook to tap but 2 unused drops is there and nearby customers are affected. Thanks hope this helps! |
