Modem Report - Check daily. This is the best way to determine where to begin locating the problem and finding out where the noise is. Remember NOISE is what will bring down the cable plant.

Find the lowest or worst modems and fix first.

Fair - 24 db
Bad - below 20db

Upstream Power
good - 35-45 db
Fair - 30 - 50 db
Bad - 20 - 55db

good - -5 +5 db
Fair - -10 + 10 db

good - 37 45db
Fair - 32 - 37db
