Not sure whether it is a glitch，when the course is created, by default it will add (N minus 1) counter on the "Unsubmitted" activities, I understand that Forum is part of the activities, but News Forum(default one, which students not able to post replies) should ignore/not contributing to the "Unsubmitted" activities counter as students are not allowed to participate on one-way communication platform. Example: 4 students enrolled; 0 assignment created; News forum created by default; "Unsubmitted activities" counter: 3 (upon clicked and inside shown 0) Occurrence: (N minus 1) which N is no. of students, even though they contribute no action on Forum post, but the counter somehow add (N-1) counter on it. Sample image for a course with 4 students enrolled(4+(N-1)=7 unsubmitted):  Hopefully anyone can show me how to disable forum subscriber/poster contribute to the "Unsubmitted" counter.Thank you. |

Hi, I can't seem to replicate this problem. As far as I can tell, the News Forum is not included in the Marking interface. Here's what I see: http://screencast.com/t/9duDsovj (this course has one assignment and one student) Can you tell me how to replicate? Thanks, Fernando |

Hi there, sorry for late reply, I tested with a fresh copy of moodle, method to replicate the no. of unsubmitted: - Try to create topic from news forum. - It will show the N students on no. of unsubmitted assignment. Thank you. |
