Rogers is currently the only national wireless company to use GSM in Canada.

75 per cent of cellphones are made for the GSM standard, including Apple Inc.'s iPhone and Research in Motion's BlackBerry Bold.

Telus and Bell moving their networks to GSM by 2010, check out the news from a month ago.

Out of 6.6 billion people, 3 billion are wireless subscribers. Not sure how many are CDMA or GSM
