Adobe Connect Pro (Activity Module)
by Fernando Oliveira - Thursday, 20 May 2010, 09:32 AM

The Adobe Connect Pro Module integrates Moodle and Adobe Connect Pro (a live web conferencing platform). The module allows users to create Adobe Connect Pro meetings by adding an activity instance and providing the meeting name, url (optional), start time, end time, meeting template and a public or private meeting setting. Any user who creates or joins a meeting will have their account created on the Adobe Connect server (if one doesn't exist) and they will be signed in automatically.

Note that you need a Adobe Connect Pro server (or access to one) if you want to install this mod on your Moodle site.

This mod is installed on Test Course 1. More info about this mod can be found here.

Users at Adobe Connect Pro (Activity Module)

Hello, Fernando

My organization uses Adobe Connect, but users are loging in as guests.

Is there any way to log them rigth ahead from their courses? Nowadays, we provide a link and users must log in again in the Connect Server.

Greetings from Perú

Hi Miguel,

That's exactly what this module does. You can read more about it in the Moodle Docs section here: http://docs.moodle.org/en/Remote_Learner_Adobe_Connect_Pro_Module

I read that it also could display meeting recordings, but I'm not sure how that works. Is that something that the teacher has to then put onto the page after the meeting has been recorded? I didn't see a place for it in the Test Course.

I like having the Adobe Connect Pro directly as an Activity Module instead of having to have announcements about meeting times and urls. It makes it much easier for students to navigate.
