We haven't had an opportunity to post updates with pics and videos due to a lack of funding (we don't have a laptop or stay long enough to access to the internet) for the walk. however, we will try to keep you all updated as we go. We are leaving Tbay tomorrow morning. Not sure when we are going to have access to the internet next time. Do you have a toll free number (or other #s) we could reach you at, as our cell phone's minutes are almost over. We hope to get it back online, so people can call us. We have visited the jail and met with the KI chief Donny Morris today. We sang and drummed four songs outside the jail, and Crissy who visited him inside the jail said he heard the drums and the singing! Here is our planned route: Monday nite- arrive in Red rock Tuesday nite- Pays Plat Wed nite- Marathon Thursday- White River Friday nite- Wawa Then we will carry on the next day to Batchewana, then to Saulth Ste Marie, then to Thessalon, then to Serpent River, then to Sagamok, then to Whitefish River and then to Sudbury (likely one day for each destination). We will most likely take highway 400 afterwards. We haven't been able to send the photos from the walk due to tech challenges .... Will try again later. We are still looking for places on the way to stay overnite, supplies (food, water, socks, extra shoes and gas money--we've rented a vehicle for luggage and supplies).
