Questions
by holle holle - Monday, 1 December 2008, 10:32 AM

1. Can i show a Block for a user in the middle of Moodle?
2.Why can i see myCourses only at the admin-page and not to configure the block with stickyblocks for the User?
=> my goal is to combine myMenu and myCourses in one Menu and myGrades aswell.
3. Sometimes an error appears => some stickyblocks disappear when i want to move them from one side to another => is there an error in moodle?
4. How can i allow students to add their own RSS Feed? In moment the admin has to configure them.
5. How can i add the reply-button in Blogs?

Can anybody help me with this questions? Thank you for your time.

Hello and sorry for the delay. Regarding your questions:

1. Yes, MoodleFN includes the patch (created by Alfredo Artilles) that makes this possible (http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=55280)

2. I'll have to look into the Sticky Blocks application, but the myCourses block should work fine at the course level (try activating it via the 'add block' dropdown menu - select Add.. "FN My Menu").  The My Menu block does not include the gradebook, however (You can use the Course Links block for this, if you like)

3. What kind of error? When you try to move blocks from side to side and they go missing, they are likely moved to the centre. This is normal behaviour (as mentioned in item 1, above).

4. You'll have to post this one on Moodle.org, since the MoodleFN code doesn't really apply here.

5. Again, this is an issue for the general Moodle community at moodle.org.

Hope this helps,

Fernando
