These community stories of innovative use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) by First Nations communities across Canada were written in collaboration with members of First Nations communities and organizations.

The stories outline innovative, industry-leading uses of ICTs and broadband by First Nations communities and organizations in areas including art, education, and health. These areas are intimately related and so, for example, language immersion programs in First Nations’ schools cannot be separated from health and well-being. In some cases the stories were authored or co-authored by members from the concerned organizations and communities. In all cases the stories that appear here have been verified by organization and/or community members.
