Memories, Myths, and Dreams of an Ojibway Leader is written by William Berens, as told to A. Irving Hallowell. The book recollects the events in the life of the chief of the Berens River Band in the Lake Winnipeg area, from 1917 to 1947. In the book, Berens relates significant personal dreams and experiences, and shares traditional myths of the Ojibwe and Cree's rich oral tradition.
