K-Net Email Help

I am over quota and I can't delete any of my emails. What do I do?
First try Purging your Trash folder to free up space by clicking on the Purge link beside the Trash folder on the left menu in your email.
If that doesn't work or your Trash folder is already empty. Try this.
1. Login to your email
2. Go to Folder Preferences
3. Underneath Special Folder Options, change the Trash Folder: to [Do not use Trash]
4. Now go to your Inbox and delete any old messages that you do not need.
5. You can change your trash folder settings back to Trash Folder: INBOX.Trash

Is there a way to recover e-mails i deleted already?
If you deleted them, they usually go to your Trash folder. Try looking in the Trash folder.  If you already Purged your Trash folder, then there is no way to recover them.

Can I use Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird with K-Net Email?
Yes your can.  When you are setting up your email accounts with those programs, use the following information:
incoming server type:  IMAP
incoming server name:  mail.knet.ca
outgoing server type:  SNMP
outgoing server name:  mail.knet.ca

password: yourknetpassword ie. mypassword
