Ha. I'm more of a Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix fan actually, but I think sharing music could be a good way to connect to people. Some of the systems people were wondering what websites are popular with the youth workers and their communities. I bet YouTube would be one of them. I've found a lot of Cree and Ojibwe cultural videos there. I noticed that a lot of the younger drumming circle people in the videos on NishTV also seemed to be into hip hop, which I think is realy cool. I wonder why hip hop and rap has such a strong appeal to so many different people. In undergrad I read an ethnography, Saluala, about contemporary urban society in Zambia, and the author said hip hop was huge there. As Adam mentioned in class, some of the most popular homepages are the ones that give away music codes. I even found pages that had "oldies" music like Purple Haze and All Along The Watchtower.
