Youth Employment 2013-14

Monday: Assisting in the Computer lab for most of the day but also rotating as this week is report card week and teachers were having problems with their software and computers.

Tuesday: A rushed day as the lab instructor was working to get his report cards finished for Wednesday so myself and another worker stayed in the lab with the students.

Wednesday: Half a day for the students for Report Card day. It dueled as a Parent Teacher Meeting day so the lab was prepared for the meetings which were 2-4 and 6-8.

Thursday: On Thursday the roads were covered in ice so there were no buses running however the school was open to students who had a ride in. A big screen in the lab was set up for the Olympic hockey game and we brought in a popcorn machine for the day. The students loved it.

Friday: We prepared for yet another Olympic hockey game and again brought out the popcorn machine. It was a regular school day thanks to public works. Once the lab was ready I helped in a few other classes to get the game streaming for the teachers and students.
