Youth Employment 2013-14

When I started working in the youth ict position I was assigned to work with Chris Kendall in helping setting up new/old hardware, networking and computer systems. I still continue this type of work even refurbishing older computers for continued use within the school, when we are not fixing something that breaks down every day or two, I am designing new layouts to be used with our current content management systems for the clfn web site. Its a little tricky as the cms has its own way of doing things and it seems Ill also be needing to master javascript to alter the cms built in style a little so it all works the way I want it too across all current web browsers. I love designing and programming web pages as well as graphics. Overall my enjoyment of working with computers in this way just feels right, like I should have been doing it a long long time ago(probably should have been). During the holiday break I will finish up with the schools web page and study javascript jquery php and sql to design more professional web pages, then probably come back and change the overall clfn web and school web sites. Sometime between now and the end of the yict position I will take my A+ certification so that I may be a computer technician along with designing web pages, databases and servers freelance or hopefully for a company.
