Youth Employment 2013-14

Well my day started by updating our AMBE website. I was given a list of the months translated into Mohawk, so I updated some sections on the website from English to Mohawk.

I was asked yesterday to create an award certificate that captured the identity of our Kanatakon School. I put together 8 different layouts with patterns and symbols used within our culture and sent over to the principal to review.

I've been working on the slides for the schools lobby monitors. One out of three schools has someone in-house to update. I updated Kanatakon's monitor yesterday (Wednesday). I worked on AMS slides today, sent them over for the principal to review.

I am scheduled to update the lobby tv monitor at AMS tomorrow (Friday) at 10am. I would like to get a head start on their January Calendars if possible, we'll see.

My goal for next week is get more involved in the schools. Right now things are pretty slow. I've been helping them more with creative stuff. However I do know each school do have events coming up (i.e. Christmas concerts, award ceremonies, etc...) So I'm pretty excited about those.
