Well this week I was able to gain access to our AMBE website. I updated a few of the pages with recent information. We are using WordPress which is pretty simple. I have some experience using it from my last job at the Casino. We are in the process of getting a Facebook page to coordinate with our website (i.e. school delays, bus delays, schools/bus cancelations). Our visitation on the webpage is low, so I am hoping to increase it while I am here. I plan to make it easily accessible for our staff/parents to use.
The schools were off yesterday (Thursday) and today in observance of a holiday. So I wasn't able to meet with them this week. With the start of a new month next week, it will be an opportune time to update the lobby TV monitors with new info.
So far, it's been a productive 2 weeks. The team I am working with have been wonderful with everything!
