Hi folks,

While the new Navigation block (introduced with Moodle 2) offers a lot of functionality, it can be a little overwhelming. This explains why, over the last year, lots of folks have come here looking for the My Menu block. We're happy to announce the immediate release of FN - My Menu for Moodle 2.3.

To install, make sure all files and sub-directories are placed in /yourmoodlesite/block/fn_my_menu/

After installing this block, you may want to hide the default Navigation block from students. To do this, click on the "Assign Roles" icon located in the block header, select "Permissions", as shown here: http://screencast.com/t/5ZGjZhS9Tl2. Then remove Student, Authenticated User, Guest and any other role that you want to prevent from viewing the default navigation block.
