"un-defined" in html editor

The word "un-defined" (without the hyphen) does not work in Moodle 1.9 html editor. It causes the toggle html button not to work, and assignments cannot be saved/edited. Here's a link to someone with the same issue: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=210638

There's no solution given. I typed the word here in this editor and the same thing happened, I lost my post and it gave me an error. Our math teacher needed to use the term and so he has resorted to using the hyphenated word "un-defined".

I just thought you all should be aware of this. It is really strange, and any solution would be welcome, although we can survive using the hyphenated word.

It's not an issue in Moodle 2.
