Monday - I was in the JK/SK class all day. Helped the students do assignments, worked with certain kids too catch up with missed work while they were absent. Supervised the students while the teacher caught up with reports. Tuesday - Governance meeting all day with staff. Wednesday - JK/SK class all morning helping them with language arts, and math. The teacher had got me too begin on 3 different tasks. I got one task completed yesterday. I had too created word cards for words in Ojibwe such as the days of the week and months. Thursday - I was in the JK/SK class again from 8:30 til 10:30. I basically supervised the students while the teacher worked with one part of the class. I helped them with the computers, just like every other day. I had also began on a different project the teacher wanted me too do which was put together an alphabet booklet with the upper case and lower case letters, with lines too print and trace. I didn't quite finish this today so it will be another project continued on for tomorrow! Friday - Secretary duties! Answer the telephones, take messages, make up a memo regarding Valentine's day for the students and finish up the alphabet booklet for the kindergarten class. |
