YICT 2010-11

Monday 7th- Finished the final copy of my book list. In total, there are 1372 books in the Literacy Library.

Tuesday 8th- During the morning hours, I was working with October. In the afternook, I was helping the grade 7/8 teacher do an art project with his class.

Wednesday 9th- With all of the SmartBoard equipment out of my office, I finally had the chance to arrange it to my liking. There was alot of junk in the room that had to be moved. I still have to go through filing cabinet and package what isnt needed at present.

Thursday 10th- Today I am going to start developing my schedule based on the number of students that need the extra help with reading. Also, I have a rough idea on how to help the older students with retention and absorbing what was just read. (novel studies?). I'll aslo be talking to the teachers today regarding each student and how she/he sees this going.

Friday 11th- Continue with my schedule and lesson development.
