Tuesday - Tuesday was my first day of work. I got set up with the Knet site, browsed the site and made my profile. I logged onto the breeze chatroom where I got too meet other Inac workers. In the morning I also went too the Junior and Senior Kindergarten classroom too teach the students how too log onto computers and also log off. In the afternoon, I looked at different courses that were offered through Allison.
Wednesday - On Wednesday I began too fill out forms that Angie had sent too me for this job. One of the assignments one of the teachers wanted me too start is too put together a presentation of "Microsoft Powerpoint" for the grade 6,7, and 8 class. An idea that came too my head was too find different tutorials on like Web Design. So I basically did research and read up on different tutorials and kind of got too learn the program myself. Everyday I have too attend the JK and SK class too get a clear knowledge on signing on and logging off the computer. I had also installed different computer games into the school computers so they are available for the students during computer time.
Thursday - On Thursday I did more research on finding different typing programs for the younger students in the school so they can get a clear understanding on the keyboard, where different letters are located, and other main computer keys. While I helped the students in JK and SK again, I also got them too work on Microsoft word. They had typed there names and I also got them too type in a sentence. I taught them about the Shift Key, Space Bar and Back Space. There was a bit of downtown towards the ending of the day, so I continued on working on my PowerPoint.
Friday - On Friday I was the secretary for the day. I answered the telephone, took messages, and I also created a memo that went out too all the teachers and students. I participated in some of the Elder presentation but I missed parts of it so I will have too review the recorded one. Just like every other day, I attended the JK/SK class.
