YICT 2010-11

Monday 10th: I was in Kenora at a Nelson Literacy Training session. The morning was focused on the Jk/Sk's and the afternoon was focused on 1-3. Our school board recently purchased a new teacher's resource from Nelson Literacy. These sessions were to help the teachers to use them. Since my position deals largely in literacy, I deemed it necessary to attend.

Tuesday 11th: Kenora again. Second day of Nelson Literacy Training. Morning- grades 4,5,6. Afternoon- 7 and up.

Wednesday 12th: I was subbing for the 4,5,6 class.

Thursday 13th: I was subbing for the grades 1,2,3 class. Had to postpone the poker walking derby because of snow. Visibility on the ice was dangerous. The rest of the sports committee and I  decided on Wednesday the 19th to be the day to commence it.

Friday 14th: Worked on new posters for the Walking Poker Derby and distributed them.
