YICT 2010-11

Monday January 3rd - Monday was a holiday but still logged into knet to see what was happening and see what time our online meeting was this week.

Tuesday January 4th - I didn't make it into the office today due to a personal health matter. Note was given to my supervisor.

Wednesday January 5th - I arrived to work. First thing I did was scan my computer I use for work. Looked at other online courses. Met in the breeze room for our meeting at 10:30 a.m. I finished up my weekly reports from the holidays and sent them in. Was out of the office for the last two hours of work because I had an ultra sound in Dryden to attend.

Thursday January 6th - I had an appointment in the morning for 9:30 a.m. It was my first prenatal appointment. Therefore I wasn't in the office for the morning. In the afternoon, I did scans on all computers in the computer room. I did more of my online course.

Friday January 7th - I first arrived to work. I browsed through the online courses and I am thinking of doing the Microsoft Literacy course next. I'm excited about learning about smart board. Some people from Bimose came in the other day and discussed with the children about new learning centres they have in their classrooms, reading programs with the younger children and about the smart boards they will all have in each classroom. Some gentleman is coming out this way to teach the staff and I how to use the smart boards. In the afternoon, I planned on doing more of my online course and to see if any of the teachers need assistance in any way.
