Breaking-the-Moodle-Mould

I was curious about the Brainstorm Activity Module. Some curriculum expectations require students to work as a group, and thus some assignments ask students to brainstorm with a partner. However, not everyone has a partner physically present to do this. I thought that the Brainstorm activity would help alleviate that problem.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Does it work well? How perceptive are students of it?
