Hello everyone,
I'm a graduate of Dalhousie University with a BA (Hons.) in Gender & Women's Studies and Linguistics. In the fall of 2010 I will be doing an MA program at York University in Theoretical Linguistics. I've spent most of my life in Sault Ste. Marie, and have worked in public health doing harm reduction and healthy sexuality education and anti-homophobia advocacy. I have also been involved in the community in issues around housing, diversity, and youth civic engagement.

Currently I am a Research Assistant with the NORDIK Institute, and my primary areas of research are on the arts & culture sector in Northern Ontario, and cross-cultural relations in the social economy. Over the last two years I have also been the co-director of the Queer Voices of the North Film Festival.
