I am a professor at Hearst University. My interest are mainly community and local economic development and strategic thinking. I have just created CRRIDEC (Centre régional de recherche et d'intervention en développement économique et communautaire) which is a research center looking forward to help communities in the North. I have special interests in citizenship participation, french language communities, sustainable communities in a forest setting and the health sector. But, for my naive soul, the ONLY important question we have to answer as thinker and doer is how will we (as human and northern communities) be able to survive the transformation that is going to happen pretty soon (5 to 100 years) with the end of the fossil fuel era...
