I had an opportunity to speak with Carol Kauppi last Thursday, Apr 1.  she is very supportive of our CURA and she is willing to come on as a collaborator with our project.  One of the projects involved in her CURA which seems particularly relevant to our work is the development of culturally appropriate housing in First Nations communities which will include a 'green design'.  A comment from Carol that may be valuable to think about is that "CURAs are really about making changes in the community".
