This is one of those features that we couldn't update without compromising the "core" code (i.e. the code that makes up the actually Moodle program); these type of customizations eventually get deleted when we update the core. One option is to allow students to submit their pictures via the file-upload method in the FN Assignment, but of course this isn't suitable for assignments requiring many pictures nor does it allow images to be inserted INTO online documents. I will look around the Moodle site to see if there's a work-around.
