Protecting Our Mother - Walk to Toronto spring/summer 2008

Yesterday I received an email from someone who had heard about the walk and was trying to get ahold of Sasha or Chrissy. Kyle Pawis has this message he would like passed along to the walkers:

"I don't know where you guy's are at right now. There's a reserve between the French River and Parry Sound called Shawanaga. The band office number is (705)-366-2526 Just ask to speak with a councillor or the chief, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind helping. whenever you get near there.

The Tran's Canada Highway passes through 3 other reserve's between the French River and Parry Sound. Magnetawan, Pickerel, and Henvey Inlet. They shouldn't be hard to get a hold of."
