Yesterday after leaving Michipicoten towards Sault St. Marie the walkers were welcomed and joined by members of Batchewana and Garden River for the day's walk. The larger group walked to Sault St. Marie together. The group feels so great to be honoured and welcomed by so many people along their journey! The public speaking event at Algoma University was canceled yesterday and re-scheduled to tonight at 7pm. Sorry to anyone who went down for this yesterday, please come again tonight! Pakane, I passed your message on to Sasha. They are planning on leaving SSM tomorrow so I told them they had to make it to Serpent River  |
