Some scholars understand curriculum as a means to transform and transmit values from one generation to another as a vehicle for social change.  This is a strong trend in environmental education.  However, students in school today will face challenges both foreseen and unimaginable in the world tomorrow.  How can a culturally appropriate curriculum best equip the next generation of First Nations parents, community members and leaders for the challenges ahead?
