On October 11, 2012 Lyle Fabian from K'atl'odeeche First Nation (KFN) gave a presentation about his community's plans for a locally owned and operated fibre optic network.
The forum was the Pathways to Prosperity Conference, held from Oct 10-12, 2012 in Yellowknife. The conference focused on issues of northern governance and economic development in the Northwest Territories.
Lyle's presentation outlines KFN's plans to develop a local fibre optic network. He discusses some of the benefits of the network, along with future plans to potentially extend it to service other communities in the NWT.
